Well, it’s more about me.

Having spent my entire –yet young- career dealing with high-end clients (I am a diamond trader and jewellery designer), I remember I always listened with a more than common interest as my clients shared their honeymoon travel plans with me. Having travelled my fair share of the world, made me a respected sound board as they picked my brain for ideas.

In today’s world, the whole concept of spending your holiday has changed from spending two weeks with your parents at the Costa del something and seeing your mother get drunk on sangria for the first time in her life, to exploring the world in all of its facets.

I guess most of you will agree with me that today a perfect holiday is a balance between discovery and rest. And by discovery I not only refer to visits to Cathedrals and museums, but I speak of food and spices, of culture and people and sometimes wildlife. Or of the mere and utter silence that I discovered in Namibia’s Sossusvlei. In my husband’s experience one of the finest things he had ever ‘heard’ in his life. Other than the sweetness of my voice, of course. (his words, not mine!)

But my balance isn’t your balance, so share with me the overall ingredients, wishes and time frame, and let me bake the cake.
