April holidays

There is no better month to enjoy the incredibly beautiful Japanese spring than April. The country will definitely be full of liveliness as the school and business year (in Japan, of course) start in April. And then there are the cherry blossoms who alone attract tourists from across the world. Enjoying this beautiful “phenomenon” in a bustling metropolis like Tokyo or at the magnificent Hirosaki Park and its spectacular festival is an experience of a lifetime! Sightseeing in the beautiful Kyoto, going picking for strawberries in a typical farm or going “mountain sightseeing” on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine route will surely be lovely ways to explore Japan, get to know the locals and discover their traditional culture!

If you have decided to go on a trip to Amsterdam in April, you have definitely made the right choice. By then, the spring will be in full swing, the colours will be endless and the experience unique! King’s Day – the Dutch national holiday – is the time where Amsterdam wears its orange clothes and turns itself into a unique street party all over the city. The streets of this “party-all-around” city will be covered in a blanket of elm tree blossoms, a celebration of the spring known as the Spring snow Festival. And if those things are not enough, the Amsterdam Tulip Festival and its 400,000 (and more) tulips blooming all over the city in its gardens, museums and parks, is the cherry on top of it all!

Though there’s never a bad time to visit the incredible city of Bordeaux, taking a trip in April won’t leave you disappointed. The spring has definitely come in the area and so are the striking colours of the unique French landscapes. April is perfect also because the tourism season is just beginning, so you will be able to enjoy the city without the big crowds of people. Strolling around the Marche des Quais and checking the various stalls, filled with delicious food, beautiful flowers and different crafts is a perfect activity for a real Bordeaux vacation. Going sightseeing and discovering the city’s incredible history or going on a vineyard trip with wine tasting are just a few of the things the city offers in April for an amazing vacation!

For the most glorious vacation ever, Cuba in April is a fool proof choice! The waters of the ocean are nice and warm, and the sun and clear skies not so subtly invite you to enjoy the magnificent Cuban beaches. Enjoying the typical cuisine or beautiful architectural and historical sites of Havana, or spending a day in the city’s National Botanical Gardens, taking a private tour in a vintage car and mingling with the locals with surely make you fall in love in Cuba! And dancing with the locals during the Huella de Espana festival or listening to some good music at the Havana Guitar Festival and Contest will show you all the splendour and unique spirit of his incredible country!
