The diversity of the sceneries, both underwater and ashore, is magnificent, as are the numerous activities and opportunities that can be explored while sailing those spectacular islands.
St Lucia – Pitons
Start your sailing vacation at St Lucia, situated north of St Vincent. Marigot Bay, the place where you will find your yacht, boasts for being one of the most spectacular bays in the Caribbean. The interior parts of St Lucia offer magnificent sceneries of mountains, rainforests, banana plantations and vast valleys. Set sail towards the Pitons coastline – St. Lucia’s most famous feature. Rising more than 700 m above the sea, these two peaks are the most stunning scenery when in the sea. Anchor between those iconic natural treasures for an amazing night in the Caribbean. A short sail from Anguilla, St. Barth is a unique island, famous for its celebrity visitors, luxury and elegance. But the island is so much more, boasting with incredible nature, bustling nightlife and numerous activities to choose from. Numerous impressive yachts are anchored in the Gustavia’s harbour, where discovering the island’s numerous shopping boutiques and restaurants stars. More adventurous visitors can snorkel the wrecks of a yacht that was sunk in a storm – a unique experience. And for the most splendid beach ever, sailing to Anse de Colombier is the perfect activity.
The sea bed is so colourful and interesting, it makes snorkelling around really unique.
Pitons – St Vincent
Only a short sail of 2 to 4 hours, St Vincent is your next destination. While sailing, you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some dolphins, cruising around the magnificent blue waters. The waters are perfect for fishing and other activities, and staying the night, anchored in the beautiful Chateaubelair Bay is the perfect ending to a perfect day in the sea.
St Vincent – Wallilabou Bay - Bequia
Hop your yacht and head towards Wallilabou Bay, the setting of the hit movie “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Stroll along the beautiful beach and get to know the locals, then sail to Bequia. In no more than 3 hours, head to the unspoilt Princess Margaret Beach and enjoy the beautiful sceneries.
Port Elizabeth – Mustique
Don’t forget to explore the charming town of Port Elizabeth, one of the few places left where people are still hand carving boats on the beautiful beaches. The Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary is not to be missed or enjoy some scuba diving, exploring the marine life. In the afternoon, board your yacht and sail towards Mustique Island.
Mustique
Enjoy your breakfast aboard your yacht and leave the day to explore this beautiful island. A favourite spot for the rich and famous, especially the British Royal Family, you will see numerous magnificent villas with incredible architecture. If you want to experience the island as a local, hire a “mule” a.k.a. a golf cart. This is the best way to get around the island and go to Macaroni beach for some swimming or snorkelling.
Mustique – Tobago Cays
The uninhabited islands of Tobago Cays are your next sailing destination. Actually, the only permanent inhabitants of the islands are the sea turtles and swimming the waters with those is an experience of a lifetime. Snorkelling and diving activities are the best there with numerous coral reefs to explore. Enjoy your night under the stars.
Tobago Cays – Mayreau – Union Island
Set sail towards Salt Whistle Bay on Mayreau Island and enjoy your lunch in the magnificent half-moon shaped beach. In the afternoon, head to Union Island and anchor at Chatham Bay. The long beach and crystal waters offer great snorkelling and other water sports.
Union Island – Palm Island – Petit St Vincent
Enjoy your morning at Chatham bay and sail towards Palm Island. A definite must is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area – Casuarina Beach – its golden sand and turquoise waters seem like out of a postcard. After lunch, hop to Petit St Vincent, one of the quietest and secluded islands. The coral reefs in the area make for great snorkeling before enjoying your relaxing evening in the bay.
Petit St Vincent – Canouan Island
After breakfast, set sail towards the beautiful Canouan Island, famous for its great snorkelling, diving, and white sand beaches. If you want to enjoy yourself a bit more, the Raffles Resort has an excellent SPA and a nice golf course.
Canouan Island – Young Island Cut
And thought the sailing trip is almost over, Young Island Cut at St Vincent offers some amazing activities to bring your vacation to the next level. Hiking in the lush rainforest is highly recommended as nature is incredible. And the beautiful Botanical Gardens – the oldest in the Caribbean – boast with the majestic Baleine Waterfalls – the perfect spot for a swim!
