Day 1

Day 2

After breakfast, it is time to return to the Palace of Versailles and continue discovering its treasures. The Trianon Estate with the Grand, the Petit Trianon and the Queen’s Hamlet await, as do so the unique palace gardens. If you have the opportunity to see the Musical Fountains Show, it will be best, but even so, the gardens are a place where you can wander for hours and marvel at the uniquely trimmed bushes and trees, fountains and flowers, sculptures and paths.

The Palace of Versailles has turned to Alain Ducasse to create a specially-designed restaurant facility. His staff has taken up the challenge with an elegant contemporary cafe in the French spirit on the first floor of the Dufour Pavilion, looking out onto the Royal Courtyard. On certain events and dates, the restaurant opens its doors for exclusive dinners as the Hunting Dinner and more and trying to combine your visit to the chateaux with one of those events will surely leave a permanent mark in your life!

 

Day 3

It is time to hit the road and enjoy a unique experience at Le Royal Champagne Hotel. A place where the contemporary design meets the quaint way of hospitality, this incredible French retreat will make you fall in love with the typical way of life.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your uniquely-designed suite or indulging your taste buds. The world-class SPA centre is a perfect place to unwind and de-stress.

 

Day 4

Located just a few kilometres from your hotel, Reims is a wonderful city to explore. Begin with the Notre Dame Cathedral, a real jewel of architecture, it will make you feel in awe. Next door, the Palace of Tau hides the Holy Ampulla, which contained the anointing oil for the French coronations. Check out the Place Royal and stroll down the streets of the city, enjoying yourself.

A must-see is a covered market – Halles Boulingrin, an Art-Deco market where tourists and locals shop for fresh produce and enjoy various exhibitions and events. No visit to Reims is complete without a visit to a local Champagne House. The Taittinger House, home to some of the worlds’ most fabled champagnes await for a tour and tasting of its unique bottles.
